Granola Bars
High in low GI carbohydrate this bar will keep you going for longer without leaving you hungry. Anyone taking part in endurance sports would benefit front his bar as it contains high biological value protein and essential fats as well.
Ingredients (makes 8 servings)
- 2 scoops of Blue Label Whey® (vanilla)
- 50g pecans
- 1 1/2 cups of oats
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of flax mix
- 125ml of almond milk
- 40g of dried cranberries/ raisins
- 1/4 cup of almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
Preheat an oven to 180 degrees. In a large bowl mix the oats, Blue Label Whey®, raisin/cranberries, flax mix, cinnamon and pecans and set aside. In a separate bowl mix the almond butter, almond milk and vanilla extract and then pour into the dry mixture. Fold until the mixture has a dough like texture and place into a baking tray. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden.
