Chocolate Protein Flapjacks
These gluten free snacks are full of protein, low GI carbohydrates and healthy fats. They would work great as a guilt-free post/ pre-workout snack.
Ingredients (makes 8 servings)
- 2 1/2 scoop of Blue Label Whey® (Chocolate)
- 1 tbsp of ground almond
- 2 tbsp of gluten-free flour (or coconut flour)
- 4 tbsp of almond butter
- 2 eggs
- Handful of walnuts
- 250 ml of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions
Heat almond butter in the microwave to soften. Next, whisk in the vanilla, eggs and milk. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and slowly add in the wet ingredients. Whisk until lump free. Once mixture is smooth and slightly thick add the walnuts. Pour into a greased tray and bake for 15-20 mins at 180 degrees.
