Protein Hot Chocolate With Cinnamon And Walnut
This recipe is the perfect way to end a cold winter training session. You can enjoy a delicious hot chocolate as well as getting your protein intake to help you recover.
Ingredients (makes 9 serving)
- 1 scoop of Blue Label Whey® (chocolate)
- 250ml of Almond Milk
- 1 tsp of raw cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp of mixed spices
- Crushed walnuts
- Fresh cream (optional)

Instructions
Pour the milk and Blue Label Whey® into a shaker and shake until mixed all the way through. Pour into a saucepan and begin to heat on a very low heat. Add the cinnamon and mixed spices, mix with a fork until it is dissolved. Be sure not to bring the hot chocolate to the boil as the whey can coagulate at high temperatures. Heat until your desired temperature and pour into a glass.
To top the drink off you can add some freshly whipped cream and crushed walnuts.
